Pro Bono Legal Service

Hanson Bridgett is dedicated to providing pro bono services to individuals, organizations and businesses that cannot afford the cost of high-quality legal representation. Our attorneys handle a wide range of pro bono litigation and transactional matters with the same drive and commitment we bring to all of our client work.

We believe pro bono work benefits our firm as well as the deserving clients we serve. Our associates may receive credit toward their annual billable-hour requirements for up to 150 hours of pro bono work. In 2011, nearly 70% of Hanson Bridgett’s legal staff participated in pro bono work and contributed a total of 6,237 hours.

Hanson Bridgett’s pro bono contributions are made possible by the hard work of the firm’s pro bono committee.

Pro Bono Partnerships

Some of the most rewarding work we do is born out of Hanson Bridgett’s ongoing partnerships with nonprofit legal service organizations. We are proud to support these groups and the important issues on which they focus.
