Annette handles real estate acquisitions, ground leasing, financing, development, leasing, management and disposition matters. She has represented private developers in project development and construction financing, public agencies in the disposition of railroad rights-of-way and nonprofit borrowers in public finance bond transactions. Annette represents landlords and tenants in both the shopping center and office contexts. She has extensive experience assisting senior care clients in real estate acquisition, financing and disposition. She is particularly well versed in HUD loan assumptions and refinancing.
Annette also has worked with owners and developers in innovative project delivery methods, including negotiating construction contracts implementing an integrated project delivery (IPD) approach. She assisted in the drafting of the construction agreement for the first IPD project in New England. She currently is working with a hospital client on a multi-million dollar construction and renovation project, bringing together the owner, architect and contractor to execute a single comprehensive, collaborative agreement. Both the New England project and the hospital project are striving for LEED® certification.
In addition to her real estate and construction expertise, Annette also has worked with clients on a variety of business, corporate and commercial transactional issues including securities, financings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general contracts.
