Annette handles real estate acquisitions, ground leasing, financing, development, leasing, management and disposition matters. She has represented private developers in project development and construction financing, public agencies in the disposition of railroad rights-of-way and nonprofit borrowers in public finance bond transactions. Annette represents land­lords and tenants in both the shopping center and office contexts. She has extensive experi­ence assisting senior care clients in real estate acquisition, financing and disposition and has represented borrowers and lenders in senior care financing. She is particularly well versed in HUD loan assumptions and refinancing. She counsels non-profit and other clients on non-profit and general corporate governance.

Annette is a LEED® Accredited Professional and has worked with owners and developers in innovative project delivery methods, including negotiating construction contracts implementing an integrated project delivery (IPD) approach. She assisted in the drafting of the construction agreement for the first IPD project in New England, which achieved LEED® platinum certification. She has worked with hospital and other clients on a multi-million dollar construc­tion and renovation projects, bringing together the owners, architects and contractors to execute a single, collaborative agreement.

Annette is a member of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area and she serves as the Co-Chair of the Judiciary Committee. She is also a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California.
