Emily represents a variety of public sector clients, including cities and counties, transit agencies, and regional planning entities, in addition to private parties and businesses. Emily has handled disputes in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation. Her practice focuses on litigation in the areas of public agency, commercial real estate, contract disputes, labor and employment and general tort litigation.
Emily is committed to giving back to her community. She lends time each year to various pro bono matters, including her work for the Bar Association of San Francisco's Courthouse Landlord/Tenant Project and asylum advocacy. She has conducted multiple settlement negotiations on behalf of low-income tenants at risk of losing their homes.
