Jim has significant experience in all aspects of real estate law. His clients include property owners, developers, commercial tenants, lenders, and title companies. His expertise encompasses acquisitions, development, debt and equity financing, leasing, and entity formation. He is skilled at negotiating and structuring a variety of transactions.
Jim has been the attorney for several recent high-profile development projects in the Bay Area. He also frequently represents tenants in significant office lease and ground lease matters.
Jim has served as lead counsel in large real estate litigation matters for lenders, title companies and other commercial real estate entities. His extensive transactional experience provides Jim with a useful perspective in the litigation arena. Jim is a lecturer on real estate and financial issues. He has also served as an expert witness in several real estate matters.
