Jim is a veteran litigator with more than 35 years of experience, specializing in health, business, and real estate litigation. He has extensive jury and court trial experience in professional liability suits, licensing and certification of health providers, elder abuse, qui tam actions and real property disputes. He is also active in advising and representing medical staffs in credentialing and peer review hearings.
With the rapid growth of alternative dispute resolution hearings, Jim has participated in numerous civil arbitrations, administrative hearings, and mediations at both the state and federal levels. He frequently has presided as a judge pro tem in Sacramento Superior Court settlement conferences. Jim often works with clients to prevent disputes from developing into litigation matters. He has practiced before state and federal courts throughout California and in number of other states.
