Meghan focuses on the firm's health care clients and handles all aspects of health law. She works with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities, and other senior care and housing providers. She advises them on a broad range of issues such as licensing, reimbursement, and scope of practice questions.
Meghan has significant experience handling transactional matters. She has prepared professional services agreements between hospitals and medical groups, medical director agreements, on-call coverage agreements, physician recruitment agreements, and medical staff leadership agreements for her hospital clients. For senior care clients, she has prepared resident admission agreements, continuing care retirement community applications, and Medicare enrollment applications. She also has a background in corporate and tax law, having assisted with a number of incorporations and having prepared multiple tax exemption applications for nonprofit clients.
Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, Meghan worked as a law clerk for the International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement. During here tenure there, she researched numerous issues in environmental law. While in law school, Meghan worked as a research assistant and as a clinical student at the Mills Environmental Law Clinic.
