Associate

Nancy advises employers on all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation. Her clients include private and public companies, tax-exempt organizations and governmental entities.

Nancy advises clients on the establishment, administration and continued legal compliance of qualified retirement plans. Her work encompasses defined benefit plans, profit sharing plans and 401(k) plans. Nancy represents plans and other fiduciaries in the preparation of plan documents, amendments, policies and other participant communications. She also has extensive experience working with plan sponsors and their third party administrators to resolve benefit plan compliance issues and in preparing submissions under the IRS and DOL correction programs.

In the executive compensation arena, Nancy has counseled clients with regard to designing and drafting equity incentive plans. She has also provided guidance on matters concerning employment and severance agreements. She has experience with compliance issues under Sections 162(m) and 409A.

Prior to joining the firm, Nancy was an associate for a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services where she conducted compliance reviews of plan documents and plan operations to identify failures and process gaps that could potentially cause legal issues.
