Susanna specializes in estate planning, probate and trust administration services to individuals and families. Susanna focuses on the creation of a proper estate plan that includes the drafting of revocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. She offers expertise on sophisticated techniques for larger or more complex estates such as the drafting of irrevocable dynasty trusts, life insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts ("GRATs") and qualified personal residence trusts. She advises on the establishment of family limited partnerships and limited liability companies to transfer business and other assets to the next generation without depletion by estate taxes or interruptions in the continuity of the business. She counsels about planned charitable giving and implements charitable techniques for clients to achieve their philanthropic goals. She also assists with probate and trust administration to ensure the efficient and effective post-mortem implementation of the estate plan.
