Beyond the litigation context, Tim has drafted board resolutions and ballot materials to support a California reclamation district's proposal for increased operation and maintenance assessment charges, represented a consortium of over two dozen cities and water districts in scoping meetings for the relicensing of a hydroelectric project by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and provided counsel in preparing formal comments on study plans for a proposed NEPA Environmental Impact Statement.
Tim regularly provides pro bono legal services through the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights. Most recently, he helped a client win asylum after a three-year struggle in the San Francisco Immigration Court following an unfavorable ruling at the administrative level.
Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, Tim worked as the editor of a Native American tribe's monthly news magazine and volunteered as a legal advocate with the California Senior Legal Hotline.
