Firm History
Hanson Bridgett has been an integral part of the San Francisco Bay Area's legal landscape since 1958. With offices on either side of the Golden Gate Bridge (North Bay and San Francisco) as well as in Sacramento, Hanson Bridgett seeks to stay a step ahead of an ever-changing legal world while holding tight to the traditional value of maintaining close client contact. This emphasis on the needs of our clients extends from our legal staff of approximately 130 attorneys to the bright and devoted support staff that work alongside them.
Our extensive and sophisticated practice encompasses traditional areas of law such as general business and corporate law, litigation, and probate and estate planning, as well as major practice groups that focus on health and health care, construction, intellectual property, labor and employment, insurance coverage and public sector law. These areas are supplemented by refined expertise in such specialized and diverse fields as transportation, agriculture, real estate, environmental law and public finance.
While we certainly believe client satisfaction is best achieved by providing strategic, comprehensive and creative legal service, we know that truly listening to, and working with our clients are the surest means to achieving high quality service. We keep clients fully informed and actively involved in the decision-making process, maintain continuity in client-attorney relationships, and closely tailor tasks to the appropriate level needed to meet clients' objectives while ensuring each matter receives its due diligence.
Ultimately, the firm measures its success by the loyalty of our clients, some of whom we have represented for the better part of four decades.
