Lisa M. Pooley has over 15 years of experience representing employers with respect to labor and employment issues. She has substantial employment litigation experience, both in state and federal court, as well as administrative proceedings and labor arbitrations. She has defended wrongful termination and employment discrimination claims, with specific emphasis in disability and gender discrimination cases. Lisa also has defended wage and hour class actions in state and federal courts, including meal and rest period claims under the California Labor Code. Lisa also has substantial appellate experience in the California Courts of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit.

Lisa also regularly counsels clients on employment matters, including wage and hour issues, personnel policies and procedures, progressive discipline and termination, and leave of absence issues.
