Patrick has extensive experience in labor relations counseling, collective bargaining negotiations, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, and other administrative agencies. Patrick has represented employers in union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations and other traditional labor practice areas, and has extensive experience counseling employers in the manufacturing, construction, health care, banking, transportation, restaurant, hotel and service industries. Patrick also has first chair trial experience as an employment litigator in wrongful termination and employment discrimination cases.
Patrick has maintained a close relationship with his former law firm, Dykema, Gossett in Detroit, Michigan. Several Michigan-based companies, such as General Motors, Kelly Services, Central Airfreight, Veratex Corporation, Labtronics, Inc. and Champion Enterprises, Inc., utilize Patrick as their labor and employment attorney in Northern California.
