Judy Boyette is an experienced attorney who practices in the area of employee benefits. She advises employers and employee benefit plans on all aspects of employee compensation and benefits including fiduciary responsibility, financing, tax and regulatory issues and organizational integrity.
Judy is both an experienced lawyer and administrator with hands on experience running large, complex employee benefit programs. Most recently she was Associate Vice President of Human Resources, systemwide, for the University of California where she was responsible for a $40 billion, 100,000 member, retirement system as well as the third largest health plan in California. She also has substantial experience in labor negotiations, negotiations in mergers and divestitures and executive compensation. She has worked with legislative and regulatory agencies, with many appearances before California legislative committees. While at the university, she led transformational change of the human resources services. She is a national leader in human resources organizational evaluation and certifications.
Judy has been a partner in a national law firm where she practiced employee benefits law. She also has been deputy general counsel, responsible for corporate legal matters, including employee benefits, at one of the largest telecommunications corporations in America.
