Adam represents both public and private clients in complex, multi-party litigation, administrative proceedings, arbitration, and mediation, and also advises clients on means to avoid or resolve conflicts before they become formal, legal disputes. Adam’s experience includes representing public agencies including cities, counties, and transit districts in land use, eminent domain, code enforcement, and civil rights cases. He also represents private corporate and individual clients in commercial, trade secret, and real estate matters.
In addition, Adam served as an extern to the Hon. Martin J. Jenkins in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in 2004.
Adam's experience includes:

- Prosecuted several, simultaneous and connected condemnations on behalf of transit agency to acquire string of land needed for massive infrastructure project with complex and often fluid time-tables.
- Defended commuter train agency from suit seeking to stop agency’s planning relationship with California High Speed Rail Authority, obtaining early dismissal of claims.
- Defended hotel from tenant-restaurant’s lease demands for massive remodeling of public facilities through successful arbitration.
- Successfully mediated settlement of contentious claim by motel owner against its former owner for fraud arising out of the sale of the motel.
- Prosecuted city’s suit to close downtown business that continued operating after city rescinded its fraudulently-obtained business license, including contempt proceedings following business’s violations of preliminary injunction.
