Hanson Bridgett Welcomes New First Year Associates

San Francisco—Hanson Bridgett is proud to announce that its five first year associates have all passed the California Bar exam. The firm's newest associates are Erin Bennett, Caroline Burnett Brandenburger, Margaret Cohen, Tim Findley and Megan Mead.

"We are so pleased to welcome this diverse and talented group of first year associates," Managing Partner Andrew Giacomini said. "All of them are wonderful additions to Hanson Bridgett. They have all demonstrated through their academic and extracurricular achievements that they are well prepared to meet the demands of a career in the law."

Erin Bennett will be a member of the Business Department. She received her B.A. from Princeton University and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. As a law student, Erin received many awards and distinctions including: the CALI Award for Excellence in Torts, Law Student Vice Chair of the American Bar Association Trial and Insurance Practice Section, and was the Co-Founder of the Entertainment and Sports Law Association.

Caroline Burnett Brandenburger will be a member of the Litigation Department with an emphasis on labor law. She received her B.A. from Brown University and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. As a law student, Caroline received many awards and distinctions including: the Moot Court's Best Brief Award, and the CALI Award for Excellence in Gender and the Law and in Public International Law. In addition, she was a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review.

Margaret Cohen will be a member of the Litigation Department. She received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and her J.D. from Stanford Law School. As a law student she was involved in many distinguished extracurricular activities including: volunteer at the Stanford Community Law Clinic, volunteer at the Community Law Services in East Palo Alto, and Member Editor of the Stanford Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Journal.

Timothy Findley will be a member of the Litigation Department working with the firm's Government practice. He received his B.A. from Reed College and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. As a law student he received many awards and distinctions including: Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law and member of the Native American Law Students Association. He was also awarded honors in Legal Practice, a year-long legal research, writing, and oral advocacy course.

Meghan Mead will be a member of the Business Department. She received her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and her J.D. from Stanford Law School. As a law student she held many distinguished positions including: Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Environmental Law Journal and Co-president of Women of Stanford Law.
