Hanson Bridgett Partner André Campbell Appointed to Vice Chair of Associated General Contractors of California Legal Advisory Committee (February 18, 2011)
Hanson Bridgett is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrė Campbell, a partner in the firm’s Sacramento Office, to Vice Chair of the Associated General Contractors of California Legal Advisory Committee, the leading association for the construction industry. Established in 1920, the AGC of California includes more than 1,200 construction companies and construction related firms and provides education, advocacy, and support for its members while helping maintain strong partnerships and protect public interests. The Legal Advisory Committee is AGC’s largest Committee and serves as an educational forum on construction law for construction attorneys. The Committee is comprised entirely of lawyers, many of which are nationally recognized construction law experts.
Mr. Campbell brings to the position an extensive knowledge of construction law and practices in both the private and public sphere. He has been a speaker on construction law topics for the Associated General Contractors of California, Lorman Education Services, and Continuing Education of the Bar, and sits on the Board of Directors for both the AGC of California, Delta-Sierra District, and the Construction Financial Management Association, Sacramento Chapter. In addition, Mr. Campbell has significant experience in advising clients on matters ranging from bidding and protest issues, to drafting and negotiating contracts, to arbitration and mediation of disputes.
