Hanson Bridgett Adds 3 to San Francisco Office
Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to welcome 2 new attorneys and a law clerk to the firm’s San Francisco office. The firm has grown steadily in 2012, adding to its San Francisco office.
Payam A. Saljoughian joins the firm as an associate in the health section. His practice focuses on transactional and litigation matters for the firm's health care clients. While in law school, Payam worked as a legal intern in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He received his B.S. from the University of California, Santa Cruz and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
Tyrone H. Thomas' practice focuses on drafting and negotiating contract and conveyancing documents for purchase and sale transactions; drafting and negotiating lease agreements and ancillary documents; and performing title, survey and due diligence reviews in connection with a variety of corporate and government real estate matters. He joins the real estate section. Tyrone received his B.A. from Hunter College and his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. He is currently licensed to practice in Illinois and DC.
Gilbert J. Tsai is an associate in the firm's labor and employment section. Gilbert represents employers in a variety of employment-related litigation matters, including single and multi-plaintiff discrimination claims, harassment claims, wrongful termination claims, union-related issues, and wage and hour disputes. He has also assisted employers defending against meal and rest period, and disability discrimination class actions.
Gilbert counsels employers regarding their personnel policies and decisions to ensure compliance with state and federal law. He has experience advising employers in all matters related to employment law, including employee handbooks, FMLA/CFRA and other medical leave policies, collective bargaining issues, drafting severance and release packages, reductions in force, employment agreements, and matters involving trade secrets and confidential information. Gilbert received his B.S. from Cornell University and his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
