Hanson Bridgett Growth Remains Steady in 2013

Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to welcome four new attorneys to the firm’s San Francisco office. Hanson Bridgett's growth trend remains steady with the addition of these new associates.

Kent Bradbury joins as an associate in the Labor Section. Kent's practice focuses on representing clients in employment-related litigation matters, including wage and hour class action and discrimination and harassment suits, as well as responding to agency complaints.

Prior to law school, Kent worked in the human resources departments of several health care companies for more than 12 years. Kent's in-depth experience offers an inside perspective into the complex landscape of labor and employment law and other workplace challenges frequently confronted by employers.

Kent received his J.D., with great distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2011, his M.S. in Human Resource Management from Utah State University in 1999 and his B.A. from Brigham Young University in 1996.

Catherine Groves joins the firm as an associate in the Public Agency Section. Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, Catherine worked as a Berkeley Law Bridge Fellow for the U.C. Regents Office of the General Counsel where she focused on real estate and land use matters, reviewing and editing CEQA documents, drafting and editing real estate contracts, completing due diligence on commercial properties, and researching matters for litigation and negotiations.

Catherine clerked for the Office of the Santa Clara County Counsel's General Government and Impact Litigation sections, the California Attorney General's Environment, Natural Resources and Land Use sections, and the California Public Utilities Commission's Legal Division. Additionally, she was awarded the Certificate of Specialization in Environmental Law upon graduation for completing a specialized curricular program for advanced training in environmental law. She also served as an Articles Editor for Berkeley Law's Ecology Law Quarterly and was a member of Boalt's mock trial and negotiations team, Board of Advocates.

Catherine received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law in 2012 and her B.A., with highest departmental honors, from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008.

Natalie Morsette joins the firm as an associate in the Corporate Section. Her transactional work spans venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, public company reporting, venture capital fund formation and general representation of corporations and partnerships. Natalie was previously with Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP.

While in law school, Natalie served as an Executive Board Member and Senior Production Editor for the Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal.

Natalie received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2010 and her B.A. Loyola Marymount University, magna cum laude, in 2007.

Jillian M. Somers joins the firm as an associate in the Health Section. Jillian's practice includes representing the firm's health care clients in a variety of litigation and dispute resolution matters. She has been involved in the representation of companies in large-scale breach of contract cases, state and federal class actions, and Attorney General actions.

While attending law school, Jillian worked as an intern in the California Attorney General's Office as well as the Alameda District Attorney's Office.

Jillian received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2009 and her B.A., magna cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University in 2004.

"Due to increased client demands, we continue to add attorneys. These new associates will be assets to the firm as well as our clients," said Andrew Giacomini, Managing Partner.
