Hanson Bridgett Ranks #15 in Top 50 Best Firms for Minority Partners
May 20, 2015 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) — Hanson Bridgett is honored to be recognized by Law360 as one of The 50 Best Firms for Minority Partners, coming in at #15 on their list. At each of the 50 firms, more than 10 percent of U.S.-based equity partners are minorities. By comparison, 46 firms have fewer than 2 percent minority equity partnerships, and 70 firms have either one or no minority equity partners.
We are also ranked #59 among The 100 Best Law Firms for Minority Attorneys by Law360. These rankings were based on the firms' minority representation at the partner and nonpartner levels and their total number of minority attorneys.
"Less than half of the firms on the Top 100 list were also represented on the Top 50 Best Firm for Minority Partners list. We are proud of our ability to recruit, retain and elevate minority lawyers to the partnership level," said Andrew Giacomini, Managing Partner of Hanson Bridgett.
This recent acknowledgement comes on the heels of the firm also having been named as a top law firm for female attorneys by Law360. Hanson Bridgett ranked #4 and was also named as one of 25 “Ceiling Smashers.” This year’s Ceiling Smashers are the 25 U.S.-based law firms out of more than 300 surveyed that have the highest percentage of female partners, including equity and nonequity partners.
Diversity is a core component of the firm.
