Hanson Bridgett's Statement on the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority Shooting

May 29, 2021 (San Francisco, CA) – We are grief-stricken by the tragic deaths following the mass shooting at Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail facility in San Jose on May 26, 2021. We stand in solidarity with the VTA and all of its employees. We send our sincere condolences to the family members of the victims and extend heartfelt thanks to the San Jose Police Department, Deputy Sheriffs, first responders and valiant VTA employees who saved many lives. Hanson Bridgett LLP will make a donation to the VTA shooting victims fund and, to help counteract such senseless violence, will contribute to the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
