Hanson Bridgett LLP Forms Real Estate and Construction Section, Names New Litigation and Health Section Leaders (February 16, 2010)

Hanson Bridgett announced today that it has formed a Real Estate and Construction Section to provide clients with a one-stop resource for comprehensive legal services in the areas of real estate, land use, construction and sustainable development.

Hanson Bridgett is also pleased to announce the appointment of Kimon Manolius as Head of its Litigation Section and Joel Goldman as Head of the Health Section.

The new Real Estate and Construction Section, headed by David C. Longinotti, brings together the firm’s already extensive real estate and construction practices and reinforces its significant capabilities in the growing field of green building and sustainable development.

“Our integrated approach enables us to deliver well coordinated services to our clients in the interrelated areas of real estate, land use and construction,” stated Longinotti. “We will tailor this approach to the primary industries we serve, including healthcare, shopping centers, and green building”.

In the Litigation Section, Mr. Manolius, who previously led the firm’s Public Agency-Litigation practice group, succeeds Lawrence Cirelli as Section Head, a position Mr. Cirelli held for the past nine years.

Mr. Goldman, a noted practitioner in senior housing and health care law, succeeds Paul Gordon as Health Section Head, a position Mr. Gordon held for the past five years. Mr. Cirelli and Mr. Gordon remain with the firm.

“Larry and Paul have made extraordinary contributions in their tenure as Heads of the Litigation and Health Sections, and I thank them for their dedicated service,” stated Andrew Giacomini, the firm’s Managing Partner. “They have set the stage for the future growth of the Litigation and Health Sections under the outstanding leadership of two very talented lawyers, Kim and Joel.”
