Chris has experience with complex-commercial, class action, and public agency matters. His work involves all aspects of litigation, including preparing discovery, drafting motions, and trial preparation. He has also worked closely with clients on product liability and compliance issues. As a legal intern at Hanson Bridgett, Chris wrote a number of articles, ranging in topic from design immunity for public agencies to liability surrounding the resale of children’s products online.

Representative Work

Freeman v. Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District. Defeated class certification in a Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) case alleging violation of the credit and debit card “truncation” requirement, in which potential statutory damages to public agency client were $40 million.
