Intro

Maggie's practice focuses on complex business litigation, including intra-corporate disputes, contracts, business torts, insurance coverage, antitrust, and fraud. Maggie's clients include individual entrepreneurs, closely-held corporations, national and international corporations. Maggie is experienced in prosecuting and defending civil actions through trial and arbitration, and counseling corporate clients on contract negotiations and related matters. Though her practice is focused in California, Maggie has litigated cases across the country.

Outside of her practice, Maggie is an avid outdoor enthusiast and a true Bay Area sports fan.

Secured dismissal of real estate company in reasonable accommodation case; settled claims against subsidiary on favorable terms.

Represented technology company in dispute with large retailer; defeated special appearance motion challenging jurisdiction.

Secured dismissal of action brought by celebrity against law firm on first round of demurrer briefing.

Represented agricultural cooperative, in antitrust litigation relating to the U.S. egg market; settled on favorable terms.

Served as trial counsel on behalf of gasoline franchises in six-week jury trial, resulting in a partial verdict against large oil franchisor.

Served as arbitration counsel on behalf of private wealth management clients resulting in FINRA arbitration resulting in a significant award.

Represented high net-worth clients in FINRA arbitration against leading financial services firm for negligent supervision; secured significant arbitration award.

Represented Bay Area County in contract litigation with Bay Area City related to sports stadium.

Provided pro bono representation to individuals seeking asylum.

Represented agricultural cooperative through trial and appeal, successfully defeating first amendment claims.
