Susan brings more than 27 years of experience to bear in protecting intellectual property and resolving intellectual property disputes. She has pursued and stopped hundreds of infringements of her clients' registered marks. She has also defended numerous infringement claims.
Susan has handled many other intellectual property litigation matters—including other trademark issues, copyright infringement, patent infringement, software piracy, and more—both nationally and internationally. She has represented a wide variety of nonprofit organizations, for-profit companies, other entities and individuals, including particularly in the health and food industries.
Additionally, Susan specializes in trademark prosecution and counseling. She advises clients regarding the protection of their marks through federal and state registrations and also manages international trademark portfolios. She has handled several trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also advises clients on copyright protection and other copyright issues.
Susan further assists her clients in the food and beverage industry with product advertising and labeling, along with related regulatory issues.
