Tamara is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Environment Section, focusing mainly on transactional matters for the firm’s real estate clients with an emphasis on finance.

Tamara has broad experience in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.  Her experience includes mortgage loan originations, construction lending, real property acquisitions and dispositions, leaseback transactions, and commercial leasing.  She has represented lenders and borrowers in the origination of mortgage loans secured by various types of real estate collateral, including healthcare, office, hotel, and retail properties.  She also has experience financing complex collateral including ground-leased properties.

Tamara’s previous experience includes representing lenders and servicers in connection with a broad array of real estate and finance transactions including large portfolio transactions, loan assumptions, equity transfers, and other loan modifications and borrower requests, mezzanine financings, and buying and selling whole loans.

During law school Tamara worked as a judicial extern with the Honorable Edward M. Chen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California as well as a legal intern in La Raza Centro Legal’s Workers’ Rights Program and the United Nations Development Program in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
