Disability Access Disclosed

New laws require landlords to inform certain commercial tenants of disability access requirements and how their buildings stack up. This article is relevant to those apartment building owners who may have non-residential space, including retail space, in their buildings. As of June 1, 2013, property owners of certain non-residential space in San Francisco are fully affected by legislation that was approved on September 4, 2012, dealing with disability access.
