IPD Framework

June 04, 2012

The Project Framework is defined by the contractual provisions that establish how the project will proceed and measure the consequences of its success or failure. The Project Framework has at least two levels, a Macro-Framework consisting of the contract terms and business structure and a Micro-Framework consisting of the protocols and processess used to implement the project. In general, the Macro-Framework is documented in the IPD agreement and the Micro-Framework is documented in subsidiary documents, such as BIM execution plans, process diagrams and project manuals. Together, they are the road map for IPD.
