Hanson Bridgett Managing Partner Kristina Lawson Named Most Admired CEO

May 10, 2024 (San Francisco, CA ) – Hanson Bridgett is proud to announce that the San Francisco Business Times has named Managing Partner Kristina Lawson one of the Bay Area’s Most Admired CEOs.  Lawson is one of just eight CEOs to be recognized for “vision, values, performance, and what it takes to lead” at an event at The St. Regis San Francisco on the evening of Thursday, May 16.

Known in the legal industry and beyond as an innovative and collaborative leader, Lawson was also named to the San Francisco Business Times’ 2023 and 2024 Power 100 list of the Bay Area's most influential business leaders. Over the course of her career, she has been deeply committed to public service, serving as Mayor of the City of Walnut Creek and as a Governor Brown and Governor Newsom appointee to the Medical Board of California.

Lawson is currently Chair of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Bay Area Council. Prior to her election as Managing Partner, she served as the leader of Hanson Bridgett’s Real Estate + Environment Section. Lawson is an expert in complex California entitlement, land use, environmental/natural resources and municipal matters, and a respected statewide authority on California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance and strategy.
