Hanson Bridgett’s Women's Impact Network (WIN) was founded in 2010. Its purpose is to augment the firm’s longstanding commitment to inclusion by identifying, elevating and retaining female talent.

WIN is committed to providing a collaborative environment where women attorneys thrive and unique professional opportunities are identified and pursued. We strive to meet this goal through the tenets of our mission statement: Secure leadership roles for women, recruit and retain extraordinary female talent, build diverse client service teams, and mentor the next generation of women leaders. WIN offers workshops, events, mentoring programs, and a foundational approach to open, productive communication with both women and men, all of which is dedicated to cultivating and fostering the growth and development of our female attorneys and staff. The success of these efforts is evidenced both by the number of female partners within the firm and the number of women holding management and C-suite positions, including Managing Partner, Executive Leadership roles, Management Committee members and Section and Practice Group leaders. Our partnership is nearly 40% female and female attorneys make up nearly 50% of our ranks. The women of Hanson Bridgett also sit on boards and committees of various companies as well as many professional and community associations.

WIN recognizes the unique contribution of female attorneys. Our inclusive teams provide broader perspectives that can offer unique ways of looking at the issues, which contribute to our goal of providing outstanding client solutions and unparalleled client service.

Recently, the firm partnered with Diversity Lab to implement the Mansfield Rule, a pilot program aimed at increasing the number of women and minority lawyers in leadership roles. We are among a collective of leading law firms participating in this trailblazing program. This initiative underscores our commitment to creating an inclusive culture that offers a genuinely collaborative work environment. 

Because of our work and contributions, Working Mother has named Hanson Bridgett as one of the Best Law Firms for Women since 2010.
