  • For the sixth year in a row, Hanson Bridgett was ranked as one of the top corporate philanthropists in the Bay Area according to the San Francisco Business Times
  • The Recorder selected Hanson Bridgett as one of 10 leading Northern California pro bono practices.
  • We received the Community Partner in Sustainability award from the San Francisco Business Times at their "Beyond the Check" awards.
  • The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County and the State Bar of California honored Daniel Garcia with the Wiley W. Manuel award for outstanding pro bono service for his representation of victims of domestic violence.
  • Bay Area Legal Aid awarded Hanson Bridgett with its Pro Bono Leadership Award for being a Sustained Pro Bono Partner. 
  • For the second time, the San Francisco Education Fund named Hanson Bridgett its Partner of the Year in recognition of our volunteer work with the students and teachers at Everett Middle School. 
  • The AIDS Legal Referral Panel named us their Firm of the Year for our work to protect the legal rights of Bay Area residents living with HIV/AIDS.
  • Legal Services for Children honored Hanson Bridgett with one of four Pro Bono Partner Awards.

Our associates can receive credit for up to 150 hours of pro bono work.

In 2017, we contributed 5,000 pro bono hours and more than 170 charitable organizations.

Our legal staff can earn credit for 24 hours of hands-on service.

The ARC of San Francisco helps 550 clients every day.

We reward staff members who bike or walk to work.
