John Cu Elected to Board of San Francisco Chamber of Commerce

January 11, 2016 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) — Hanson Bridgett LLP congratulates John Cu on his election to serve a three year term as Board Member on the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. John’s appointment extends the firm’s participation on the board, as he succeeds partner Rich Stratton, who had served since 2012.

A litigator with significant jury trial experience, John guides his clients through complex business and commercial disputes involving contracts, unfair competition, business torts, trade secrets, products liability and real estate. The majority of his practice involves representing banks and financial services institutions both nationally and regionally.

“John is considered a role model for the Chamber’s new emphasis on expanding its reach with smaller businesses in the City, including a number of minority-owned businesses,” Stratton said of his colleague and successor.

John currently serves as Chair of Hanson Bridgett’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee Network, and has experience as Chair of the Board Development Committee and Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation.
