August 21, 2017 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) — Hanson Bridgett is honored to be recognized by Law360 again as one of The 50 Best Firms for Minority Partners coming in at #3 in the country. Law360's 2017 Diversity Snapshot revealed that "less than 9 percent of partners at U.S. law firms are minorities." Law360 ranked firms by examining a variety of factors, including the percentage of partners, both equity and nonequity, who are minorities.

In an accompanying Law360 article about stand out firms Hanson Bridgett was mentioned and quoted. "At Northern California’s Hanson Bridgett LLP, which has seen its proportion of minority attorneys in the top ranks increase for the past three years to 19.35 percent, the firm encourages minority attorneys to join the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and the California Minority Counsel Program. The firm sponsors memberships and supports attorneys’ leadership roles in various minority bar associations, according to Naomi Smith, director of attorney recruitment and diversity at the firm."

This acknowledgement rounds out accolades from Law360 and Working Mother magazine for the firm's percentage of female attorneys. Hanson Bridgett ranked #15 overall out of firms surveyed across the country in the 2017 “Best Law Firms For Women” by Working Mother. Additionally, the firm ranked #2 for female partners and #4 for female attorneys on Law360's Best Law Firms for Women list.
