May 1, 2020 (San Francisco, CA) – Hanson Bridgett has been named one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area for 2020, an award presented by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The firm ranked 24 in the large companies category. It is the sixth year the firm has been recognized in the prestigious annual awards.

Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across five categories according to the number of Bay Area employees. The 120 companies comprising the 2020 “Best Places to Work” list are those whose employees rated them as the highest on such values as solid compensation and benefits offerings, management practices, fun, collaborative culture, and other characteristics. These winning organizations were honored for creating exceptional workplaces valued by their employees.

Best Places to Work is an innovative publication and awards program produced by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal. The rankings were determined by surveys that went directly to employees who answered a series of questions. The survey was administered online by the employers and through a service provided by Quantum Workplace, San Francisco Business Times' research partner. The rankings are numeric based on Quantum’s scoring process. By ranking companies and sharing best practices, they facilitate idea sharing and help other companies learn from the best.
