Hanson Bridgett Partner Named to WSG Board of Directors

October 20, 2021 (San Francisco, CA) – Hanson Bridgett LLP, an AmLaw 200 law firm for all of California, is pleased to announce that Matt Fisher, Partner, has been elected to the World Services Group (WSG) 2021-2022 Board of Directors. He will serve a four-year term where he will work collaboratively with WSG leadership in assessing the strategic future and progress of the WSG mission and objectives.

Fisher joins a Board of 16 distinguished and diverse members representing every region of the world. The WSG Global Symposium & 2021 Annual Meeting earlier this month also marked the election of two other new Directors to the WSG Board.

Fisher co-leads the firm's Private Investment Funds practice group and is a trusted advisor for institutional investors both domestically and internationally. He has more than 30 years of extensive experience representing clients in private equity, general corporate and securities law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, fund formation, and venture capital. He serves as general counsel for early-stage venture capital-backed companies. Fisher is a sought after speaker on panels discussing corporate issues.

Hanson Bridgett has been a WSG member since 2016. Fisher has been an active participant in WSG and was a member of the North American Regional Council from 2019 -2021.
