June 2, 2022 (San Francisco, CA) – Hanson Bridgett LLP, an AmLaw 200 law firm serving all of California and beyond, is pleased to announce that Partner and Los Angeles Office Market Leader Raffi Zerounian has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal's inaugural Top 100 Lawyers list.

The list recognizes attorneys for exceptional legal skill and achievements, community involvement and impacts to the profession.

With almost two decades in practice, Raffi has established an industry-leading practice profile in trademark litigation and prosecution matters representing preeminent brands and companies across the nation as well as globally. With particular emphasis in handling trademark disputes for well-known brands, Raffi has resolved hundreds of trademark enforcement disputes and has been lead counsel in many trademark infringement actions in federal court. He has also been involved with many proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and oversees opposition and cancellation proceedings outside the US. As part of this practice, he grows and manages sizeable international trademark portfolios.

Beyond his practice contributions, Raffi oversees thought leadership in the form of articles and commentary in his role as Editor-In-Chief of the Trademark Reporter legal journal and Chair of International Trademark Association’s Trademark Reporter Committee, as editor of the "Domain Name and Trademark Issues" chapter of the CEB's treatise "Internet Law and Practice in California," and co-chair of the Trademark Subcommittee for the USC Intellectual Property Institute.

Raffi is ranked in the gold band in the World Trademark Review (WTR) for both trademark enforcement and litigation as well as prosecution and strategy for California and received a national ranking in the United States in the silver band. He has been recognized in WTR 1000 consecutively since 2017.

In addition to being recognized for his caliber of work and commitment to his clients, Raffi is a mainstay in his industry. He has held many committee and board seats over the years including being named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow in 2020. He has also been named to Super Lawyers (2014-2022) and previously Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2013) for Intellectual Property.
