Litigation Associate (1-3 years of experience)
San Francisco

The Litigation Section is currently seeing a junior to mid-level litigation associate. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-3 years of litigation experience, including drafting discovery, drafting and opposing motions, case management skills, deposition experience, trial preparation, court appearances, trials. Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

Land Use Associate (3-5 years of experience)
San Francisco

Our Land Use Practice Group is seeking candidates with 3-5 years of non-litigation land use experience. Ideal candidates will have experience representing developers and property owners in obtaining land use settlements, with a strong background in planning and zoning law, CEQA compliance, and municipal law. Basic real estate transactional experience is desirable.

Environmental Litigation Associate (1-3 years of experience)

Our Environmental Practice Group is seeking candidates with 1-3 years of environmental litigation experience. Ideal candidates will have litigation experience involving the major environmental statues including CERCLA, RCRA, CEQA, and the CWA.

Government Transactional Associate (1-2 years of experience)

The Government Section has an opening for a junior associate to assist the firm's public agency clients. We serve as general counsel and special counsel to a variety of local government agencies, and are looking for a transactional attorney whose background demonstrates an interest in government and community affairs. The ideal candidate will have some experience in handling legal issues our clients address on a regular basis, such as transparency and open meeting laws, conflict of interests, competitive bidding and procurement, public works projects, rate setting, and public contracting. Responsibilities include researching and writing, reviewing and drafting contracts, analyzing issues, and advising clients.

Our Corporate team is seeking an associate with 4-8 years of law firm experience for our fast-growing transactional practice. Experience with entity formation, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions is required. Experience pertaining to one or more of the following is strongly preferable: securities regulation and/or capital markets, private equity fund formation, technology transactions and intellectual property matters, tax, and employee benefits.
