Business Litigation Associate (7+ years of experience)
San Francisco

Hanson Bridgett's Business Litigation Practice Group currently seeks an experienced litigation associate. The position is rewarding, creative, entrepreneurial, and challenging. Our firm is well-known and highly-regarded for the supportive and collegial nature of its workplace and the exceptional quality of its services. Its Business Litigation Practice Group covers a broad cross-section of industries and subject matter areas, including corporate disputes, securities, real estate, land use, shareholder/partner/investor rights, trusts and estates, unfair competition and false advertising, receiverships, creditor's rights, fiduciary and professional liability, defamation, construction defects, and trade secrets and restrictive covenants.

We are looking for motivated, practical, organized, creative, and detail-oriented lawyers who love what they do for a living, want front-line experience with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts, want to grow and refine their practice, and aim to advance to partnership.

Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of business litigation experience that includes active participation in case management, strategy development, law and motion, written discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. They must have superior analytical, communication, and legal research and writing skills, as well California Bar licensure. Candidates should also have a distinguished academic and prior employment backgrounds and impeccable writing samples and references.

Real Estate Transactional Associate (5-8 years of experience)
SF Bay Area

Hanson Bridgett has an opening in our Real Estate + Environment Section for a mid to senior level Real Estate Transactional Associate. Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in real estate transactions of all sizes. We seek candidates who are adept at project management and highly proficient in working with complex debt and equity financing structures and purchase and sale transaction documentation, as well as due diligence, title and survey review, commercial leasing and UCC law. HUD experience is a plus.

Insurance Recovery Litigation Associate (2+ years of experience)
SF Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles

The Litigation Section is currently seeking a junior or mid-level associate to support the Litigation Section and Insurance Recovery Practice Group. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience (e.g., drafting discovery, drafting and opposing motions, case management skills, etc.). Deposition experience, trial preparation, and experience making court appearances is a plus. Judicial clerkship experience is also a plus. Candidates must have a demonstrated interest in insurance recovery work.
