Heather is an Associate at Hanson Bridgett. Previously, she was an associate in the Construction and Infrastructure Group at a Canadian law firm. Heather is accustomed to dealing with contentious and complex construction matters, and has experience representing and advising clients with respect to liens, trusts, delays, and professional negligence both in court proceedings and through the use of alternative dispute resolution methods. She has regularly reviewed and advised clients with respect to construction contracts and design professional agreements.

Representative Work

Assisted in securing a 12M award in a JAMS arbitration. The dispute involved post-closing payment obligations following the acquisition of a SaaS technology company. The buyer sought to re-trade the deal through fake indemnification claims and an artificially reduced earn out calculation. My clients were awarded their entire claim value, defeated all counterclaims, and recovered attorney fees and costs.
