Nancy counsels private and public companies, tax-exempt organizations and governmental entities on all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation.

Nancy advises clients on the design, implementation, and continued legal and regulatory compliance of their retirement plans, including defined benefit, 401(k), 457(b), and 403(b) plans. She represents plans and other fiduciaries in the preparation of plan documents, amendments, policies and other participant communications. Nancy also has extensive experience working with plan sponsors and their third party administrators to resolve benefit plan compliance issues and in preparing submissions under the IRS and DOL correction programs.

In the executive compensation arena, Nancy has counseled clients with regard to designing and drafting equity incentive plans. She has also provided guidance on matters concerning employment and severance agreements, bonus programs, and nonqualified deferred compensation agreements, including compliance with Sections 409A and 162(m).

Prior to joining the firm, Nancy was an associate for a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services where she conducted compliance reviews of plan documents and plan operations to identify failures and process gaps that could potentially cause legal issues.
