Rebecca advises owners, general contractors and subcontractors on risk mitigation and claims for public works, heavy civil, commercial and multi-family construction projects under fixed price, design-build, lease-leaseback, and GMP contracts. She litigates construction claims in arbitration and court for delay, inefficiency, extra work, defects, and design errors and omissions. Her practice includes counseling on bid protests, mechanics liens, and stop payment notices. With a rigorous approach to early dispute resolution and litigation, she is experienced in all phases of litigation including legal research, discovery, depositions, motion practice, oral argument, arbitration, and trial.

Hotel Developer/Owner. Represented hotel developer/owner in multi-party litigation and arbitration involving construction claims of delay and extra work, design errors and omissions, and construction defects.
General Contractor in Multi-Family. Represented general contractor in AAA arbitration against builders risk insurer related to San Francisco multi-family project leading to successful recovery on delay and extra work claims.
Subcontractor. Represent MEP subcontractor in AAA arbitration against general contractor related to delays and inefficiencies, extra work, and unpaid retention for hotel project.
Custom Electrical Distribution Manufacturer. Negotiate agreements on behalf of electrical distribution equipment manufacturer for multi-million dollar high tech and data center projects.
Public Owners. Represent public owners in disputes with design-builders and prime contractors related to delay, extra work, and non-conforming work claims.
