Building the Future: Celebrating Women in Construction Week at Hanson Bridgett
All week long, we’re sharing the unique perspectives of Hanson Bridgett’s women in construction. This year’s theme, ‘Together we Rise’, celebrates the vital role they play in shaping the future of the industry.
At Hanson Bridgett, our leading Construction Section is Chambers USA Band 1 ranked – among the very best in the country. They’re well known for delivering tailored and innovative solutions to a wide range of clients like the Golden Gate Bridge District, The University of California San Francisco, Build Group Inc., Plant Construction Company, and California Rail Builders, to name a few. The team solves some of the most complex issues and disputes in the industry. Less obvious, however, is the fact that Hanson Bridgett’s Construction Section, led by partner Michelle Akerman, is made up of 43% women — an exceptionally strong representation given the traditionally male-dominated industry.
Amplifying Women’s Voices
As we celebrate Women in Construction Week (March 3-7), we’re taking a moment to recognize the talented women on the team by sharing their unique perspectives. Each day, we’re posting audiograms on social media — short recorded insights from our women Construction attorneys, reflecting on their experiences, challenges, and the progress being made in the industry.
