Intro
Bryan is Counsel in our Health & Senior Care Section. He is a seasoned, results-driven lawyer, with nearly 30 years of in-house legal experience at large public and privately held companies operating in highly regulated and litigious business environments in multiple industries. Bryan has a broad and diverse skillset, with notable legal and business experience in corporate governance, strategic transactions, risk management, operations support, crisis management, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, Bryan served as the Sr. Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Atria Senior Living, Inc., a leading operator of senior living communities throughout the United States and Canada. In his general counsel role for almost 20 years, Bryan led the legal, government affairs and risk management functions during a period of significant growth for the company.
Bryan is currently the Chairman of Legal and Government Affairs Committee of Argentum, the leading national association representing senior living communities. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Legal Aid Society, Inc., a non-profit organization providing free legal services to low-income individuals and families in 15 Kentucky counties.
