Hanson Bridgett Adds Experienced Senior Care and Housing Counsel to Health Section

October 15, 2024 (San Francisco, CA)Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce that counsel Bryan Hudson has joined the firm’s Health Section.

With nearly three decades of in-house legal experience, most recently as the Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Atria Senior Living, Inc., a leading operator of senior living communities throughout the United States and Canada, Hudson brings an extensive legal background, and strong business acumen to the Health Section. His broad skillset includes notable experience in corporate governance, strategic transactions, risk and crisis management, operations support and regulatory compliance, among others, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm’s Chambers-ranked Health Section.

Hudson’s addition to the Hanson Bridgett team reflects the firm’s continued commitment to expanding its health care practice as a nationally recognized leader in the senior care and housing sectors.

In his role as general counsel of Atria, Hudson led the legal, government affairs, and risk management functions through a period of significant growth for the company. He has received the highest peer rating, “AV Preeminent®,” by Martindale-Hubbell since 2001, and is currently the Chair of the Legal and Government Affairs Committee of Argentum, the leading national association representing senior living communities.

Hudson holds an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, and a B.A. degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
