Hanson Bridgett Expands Transportation Practice with Addition of Gregory R. Reed as Partner
SAN FRANCISCO – April 23, 2025 – Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Gregory R. Reed as a partner in the firm’s transportation and logistics practice group.
Based in Washington, D.C., Reed has represented entrepreneurs, national manufacturers, and industry associations. He most recently was executive director and transportation counsel to the National Star Route Mail Contractors Association, the trade organization for the United States Postal Service’s surface transportation network.
“Greg brings a solid track record as a litigator, regulatory lawyer, and legislative advocate,” said Kristina Lawson, managing partner at Hanson Bridgett. “His industry knowledge and experience will enhance the strategic counsel we provide clients in the ever-evolving legal and regulatory environment.”
Prior to his position at NSRMCA, Reed was an attorney with The Cullen Law Firm, representing owner-operator truck drivers and small business motor carriers in federal and state courts. He also served as outside counsel to the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association.
Reed received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College and his law degree from American University Washington College of Law.
Hanson Bridgett has a wide variety of experienced general transportation and logistics attorney-practitioners, representing both privately and publicly owned companies for their unique distribution and supply-chain requirements. In this dynamic industry, the firm is counsel to a broad and diverse range of domestic and international commercial carriers, including motor, water, rail, passenger, air cargo, and household goods companies. In addition to direct suppliers and users of such services, the firm regularly assists local and national third-party brokers, intermediaries, and full-service logistics enterprises with contractual, transactional, and litigation matters.
