Hanson Bridgett Names Sandra Urosevic Director of Recruiting and Estella Cisneros Director of Pro Bono and Social Impact

Accomplished attorney recruiter and longtime legal aid leader join the firm’s business professional team as it continues to grow across California

SAN FRANCISCO – October 12, 2026 – Hanson Bridgett LLP today announced that the firm has named Sandra Urosevic as its director of recruiting and Estella Cisneros as its director of pro bono and social impact. Urosevic and Cisneros join the firm in its Sacramento and San Rafael offices, respectively. The appointments add two experienced leaders to the business professional team as the firm continues to grow across California and deepens its commitment to the communities it serves.

“As Hanson Bridgett grows, we want to build on a strong foundation and stay rooted in the principles that have guided this firm for decades,” said Managing Partner Kristina Lawson. “Sandra brings more than a decade of experience recruiting attorneys in California’s most competitive markets, from Sacramento and the Bay Area to Los Angeles, and she will help us attract lawyers who share our culture as well as our ambitions. Estella has spent her career serving rural and underserved communities across the state, and her leadership will help our people put their skills to work in service of others. Sandra and Estella will help us create more opportunities for talented lawyers to build their practices here and make a meaningful contribution through public service.”

Urosevic joins Hanson Bridgett from Seyfarth Shaw, where as regional senior legal recruiting manager she led attorney recruiting for the firm’s four California offices and its Miami office. She hired and onboarded 25 to 30 lateral attorneys annually in practices including labor and employment, corporate, real estate, litigation, employee benefits, and international employment. She played a leadership role within Seyfarth’s recruiting department and helped shape California’s hiring request and workforce planning process for incoming laterals. Urosevic’s work spans lateral partner and associate recruiting, national partner searches and strategic recruiting initiatives, on-campus interviewing, and the summer associate program.

“Recruiting is central to building the firm’s future,” said Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Laura Long. “Sandra understands what attorneys look for in a firm and brings the experience to help us take a more strategic approach to recruiting across California. She will work closely with our leaders to attract lawyers who strengthen our practices, contribute to our culture, and help us serve clients.”

Before Seyfarth, Urosevic was an attorney recruiter at Fujitani Consulting, a legal search firm, where she managed full-cycle searches for law firm clients. She previously spent six years recruiting at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, most recently as attorney recruiting manager for the firm’s San Francisco and Palo Alto offices. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from the University of California, Davis.

Cisneros joins Hanson Bridgett after 14 years at California Rural Legal Assistance Inc. (CRLA) representing agricultural workers and other vulnerable populations across California. Most recently, she served as CRLA’s director of pro bono and strategic partnerships, overseeing pro bono engagement across 17 offices and four specialized programs spanning housing, employment, education, health, immigration, and rural reentry. Before that, she served as legal director of CRLA’s Agricultural Worker Justice Program, leading a statewide team of approximately 30 staff across five offices. She joined CRLA in 2012 as a Skadden Foundation Fellow and went on to serve as a staff attorney, directing attorney in Fresno, and regional director of advocacy.

“Estella has spent her career making sure people in rural and underserved communities across California can get the legal help they need,” said Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer Jennifer Martinez. “At CRLA, she built pro bono partnerships across 17 offices and programs ranging from housing and education to immigration and rural reentry. Pro bono service and our commitment to equity are closely connected at Hanson Bridgett, and Estella’s experience will help our attorneys reach more of the communities that need them.”

At Hanson Bridgett, Cisneros will lead a pro bono program that has earned the National Legal Aid & Defender Association’s Beacon of Justice Award five consecutive times. She will help deepen the program and create more opportunities for the firm’s people to put their skills to work in service of others.

Cisneros earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and her bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University. Before law school, she served as a Senate Fellow in the California State Senate through the Capital Fellows Program. Forbes named her to its “30 Under 30” list in Law & Policy in 2013.

The appointments follow Hanson Bridgett’s office openings in San Diego in December 2025 and Fresno in April 2026, which brought the firm to eight offices across California.
