Hanson Bridgett Ranks in Top 5 on Law360's 2023 Diversity Snapshot
July 31, 2023 (San Francisco, CA) – Hanson Bridgett LLP ranked 5th in Law360's 2023 Diversity Snapshot in the 101 to 250 attorney category, moving up from 9th place in 2022.
"We are thrilled not only to have moved up in the rankings, but to have exceeded the benchmarks set by Law360" said Jennifer Martinez, Hanson Bridgett's Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer (CDEIO). "We know there is much more to do, but it is gratifying to see that our focus on DEI continues to yield positive results. Currently, Hanson Bridgett's attorney group consists of 45% women, 35% people of color, and 7% self-identified LGBTQ+ individuals.

Law360's annual law firm survey collected diversity data from more than 280 U.S. firms and international firms with a substantial U.S. presence. Firms provided specific details on the racial and ethnic diversity of their attorneys by headcount as of Dec. 31, 2022. Only U.S.-based attorneys were included in the survey, and firms had to have at least 20 U.S.-based attorneys to participate. Rankings focus on “pipeline” scores, which aim to hold firms accountable for how their partner and senior associate numbers match up with the increasing number of diverse law students and very junior lawyers.
