Hanson Bridgett Welcomes Partner Christian Baker to Real Estate & Environment Section
Versatile trial lawyer deepens firm’s capabilities in real estate, banking, and complex commercial disputes across California
SAN FRANCISCO – May 26, 2026 – Hanson Bridgett LLP, a full-service law firm headquartered in San Francisco with offices across the state, announced today that Christian Baker has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate & Environment Section. Baker brings extensive experience representing clients in complex business disputes across a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on real estate and banking/lender liability litigation.

Baker’s practice spans jury and bench trials in federal and state courts throughout California, as well as administrative proceedings and regulatory investigations. In addition to real estate and banking/lender liability matters, he has substantial experience in antitrust and unfair competition, securities, probate and trust disputes, corporate investigations, white collar defense, employment, and intellectual property litigation.
Baker has tried cases to judgement in both jury and bench trials, and has litigated and resolved high-stakes disputes. His clients range from major nonprofit foundations and community hospitals to homebuilders, investment companies, and global real estate and hospitality firms.

Baker earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in business administration and a law degree from Santa Clara University.
