Leading Trust & Estate Litigator Joins Hanson Bridgett in Sacramento
March 20, 2023 (Sacramento, CA) - Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce that Daniel Spector has joined the firm's Sacramento office as a partner in the Trust & Estate Litigation Practice. Also joining with Spector is associate Brie Hutton and paralegal Lisa Reimer Gaebe.

Spector most recently had his own firm in Sacramento where, as a trial lawyer, he focused on trust, probate and complex civil cases involving families. He also serves as a mediator, arbitrator and expert witness of trust, probate and complex family civil disputes and is one of a handful of practitioners who is included in both the Sacramento Superior Court’s list of Pro-Tem Settlement Conference judges and its list of approved mediators qualified to mediate trust and estate disputes pending in Sacramento Superior Court. Spector was also named as a statewide mediation and private neutral panelist for Judicate West, a professional neutral company with offices throughout California, to handle their trust, estate, financial elder abuse and contested conservatorship matters throughout California. Spector received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Davis and his J.D. from Santa Clara University Law School. In addition to legal practice, Spector has served on numerous non-profit boards throughout California as well as the Sacramento area, including serving as an appointed member of Executive Committee for the Trust and Estates Section of the California Lawyer’s Association, Chair of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Sacramento and as the Chairman of the Board of Del Paso Country Club. In addition, he has served as a board member of the following organizations: San Juan Unified School District Superintendent’s Advisory Board; the St. Ignatius School Advisory Board and the Anthony M. Kennedy Learning Center. He also served as General Chairman of the 2015 United States Senior Open Golf Championship, the single largest sporting event in Sacramento’s history.
