Hanson Bridgett Attorneys Named 2022 LCLD Pathfinders

March 1, 2022 (San Francisco, CA)Hanson Bridgett LLP, an AmLaw 200 law firm for all of California, is pleased to announce that Nancy Dollar and Angela Han have been selected for membership in the 2022 class of Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinders—a seven-month professional program designed to train high-performing, early-career attorneys on foundational leadership and relationship-building. The program provides participants with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession along with experts in the fields of learning and development and executive coaching.

“Nancy and Angela are shining examples of future leaders, who have shown a real commitment to our organization’s diversity, inclusion and equity efforts, and a dedication to excellent client service and work” said Jennifer Martinez, the firm's Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. “I look forward to their continued growth through the Pathfinder program.”

Designed to supplement training initiatives at LCLD Member corporations and law firms, the Pathfinder Program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies. Each Pathfinder is matched with a Program Facilitator to serve as a mentor in helping one connect what they learn in the program to the organization at which they work.

LCLD President Robert J. Grey, added, “The LCLD Pathfinder Program exposes participants to intensive training, experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows and Alumni in small group gatherings. It’s a program that can truly enhance one’s career.”

From class meetings to group peer circles, this year’s 433 Pathfinders will have several opportunities to interact and network with their peers, both in person and in a virtual format. This is in addition to the exclusive leadership and professional-development curriculum that has always distinguished the LCLD Pathfinder Program.

Dollar is a tax attorney focused on tax planning, counseling, and transactional matters. Her practice includes advising founders, investors, and companies on specialty tax incentives. She has also helped clients successfully resolve federal tax audits and controversies in the appeals process.

Han represents clients in the defense of commercial and complex matters, including products liability and mass torts. She also has experience defending class actions and various civil matters such as personal injury, contract disputes, insurance services, professional liability, and more. Han is adept in all litigation phases, including case assessment and early strategy development, pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions.

Pathfinders are selected by leaders at LCLD member corporations and law firms. They have been identified as diverse, early-career emerging leaders who have distinguished—or have the potential to distinguish—themselves within their organizations.
