Intro
Eric is an Associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment section. His practice centers on defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, as well as preventive advice and counseling. Eric is a problem solver who prides himself on maintaining robust levels of trust and communication with his clients. He has prevailed in multiple dispositive motions, including summary judgment of a lawsuit involving claims brought pursuant to the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), and summary adjudication of claims for punitive damages and FEHA discrimination. He has also obtained favorable outcomes for his clients in response to investigative inquiries from the EEOC and DFEH/CRD.
Eric has ample experience in all facets of discovery, including preparing discovery responses, conducting and defending depositions, preparing employees to serve as PMKs, and resolving discovery disputes through motion practice. He has also participated in various mediation sessions for his clients. In addition, Eric is an Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder (AWI-CH) and is experienced in conducting impartial workplace investigations.
Eric is a graduate of the USC Gould School of Law. As a law student, he served as a law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
