Impartial Workplace Investigations

Our attorneys are skilled in conducting impartial and unbiased workplace investigations. We are adept at handling investigations of every scale, from high-level political issues to more common internal complaints. Our investigations are timely and detailed, and we keep clients updated along the way while maintaining neutrality. Our attorneys are mindful of the sensitive and nuanced issues that can arise in investigations, including investigations touching on issues of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and are trained to work with and appreciate diverse perspectives during investigations.

Many of our attorneys have received training from the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), and received AWI’s certification upon successfully completing its rigorous investigations training institute.

Workplace Climate Surveys

Workplace Investigations Training

We also offer a variety of trainings for in-house investigators with a focus on best practices during the investigation process. Our full investigations training focuses on every step of the investigations process, including investigation intake, avoiding conflicts of interest, recognizing and addressing implicit bias, making thorough credibility determinations, and writing a sound investigation report. We also customize our trainings to be as high-level or as in-depth as needed and to address groups of any size and experience.

Employees will leave our training with a strong foundation and knowledge base that will enable them to conduct thorough, compliant investigations of workplace complaints, with an aim to foster a healthy and inclusive workplace and to ultimately reduce liability for employers.
